 On Chorales in my Music

At times, in the midst of starry vastness, a shadow of harmony stirs. I see this a bit like a row of ancient statues found in a long-abandoned garden, their contours blurred by centuries of moss and bramble - chorales half-buried in the texture of the music, fragile, as if recalling a melody half-forgotten.

Could they be the human trace, the upward gaze, a buried hymn staking its hopeless claim within the silence of a cold and indifferent cosmos?
